Event: Democracy365 Design Workshop June 5

Brainstorm / Workshop / Meet 'n Greet
Tuesday, June 5th, 7—9pm
Centre for Social Innovation (Regent Park)
585 Dundas St. E., Toronto M5A 2B7

Design your own political party! In the final days of campaign frenzy, we’d like to reaffirm our commitment to making democratic engagement happen all year around. So we're inviting you to a participatory workshop on what a local politics means to you. The TO Centre Green Party Association wants to keep the momentum going well beyond June 7. This is a chance to meet local Green Party of Ontario candidate Adam Sommerfeld and other local Greens to discuss what advocacy looks like over the next four years here in Toronto Centre. Open to members, new supporters and curious local residents alike!

We aren't just cheerleaders for the party line, we want to know:
How can we help you be more engaged and give voice to the ideas you support? What sort of activities should we be planning? How can a local political association be effective in enriching their community and raising awareness? What issues should we work on?

A brief presentation from Adam will be followed by a break-out, co-creation workshop session facilitated by a local designer and educator. Light snacks and refreshments will be served.

Please let us know if you will be attending on Facebook https://www.facebook.com/events/168373397163194/

Looking forward to an exciting discussion!

Remember that #EveryVoteCounts — per-vote public funding means your vote supports the party and local constituency association. That's why we want to be an inclusive forum for grassroots action.

Looking forward to meeting you,
